Purpose

The ministry of Oak Hollow Thrift Shop was conceived as a fund-raising project by First Wesleyan Church to reach out to families of the church, the community, and the world to provide financial, material, and moral support. The Thrift Shop has volunteer opportunities available for adults and teens.

Hours of Operation

The Thrift Shop is open to the general public Monday through Friday 10:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. & Saturday 9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.

Staffing

Staffing by volunteers ranges from twelve years old to retirees, giving from four hours a month to four hours a week.

Merchandise

All merchandise sold at the Thrift Shop is donated. Individuals as well as businesses donate items which are sorted and cleaned as necessary and made ready for resale. All items donated to the Thrift Shop ministry are tax deductible, with receipts made available.

Items Accepted

We accept clothing of all sizes, furniture, household appliances, electronic items, kitchenware, toys, luggage, jewelry, bed and bath linens, and other miscellaneous household goods.

Donation Drop-off

Donations may be dropped off at the shop at any time during normal operating hours.
