Anthology Author Party Information February 3, 2008
I trust this week will be a wonderful time for you to spend
with your family as you thank
God for His many blessings. As a church, we truly have so much for which to be
thankful as well.
THE PROJECT: Several months ago, The Writers’ Group of our church
proposed an anthology.
The request for submissions went out and the project began. The anthology—now
complete—is
a collection of short stories, poems, devotionals, and other types of writing,
all of which support
or illustrate our church’s vision statement. Our vision encourages us to
pursue Christ and share
His life-changing love with others. Each and every submission resonates with
that sentiment.
The material is from those who are finding their work in print for the first
time and also from
those who have published before. All of it, however, was chosen for its ability
to touch—and
challenge—the heart. It will encourage and bless you—and others.
ORDERING INFORMATION: Orders for Walking the Walk: step by step,
can now be placed on the
Internet. Simply go to the publisher's site (lulu.com)
by clicking
http://www.lulu.com/content/1399703 and place your order. The entire book
can also be downloaded as an adobe file for a modest fee, if you prefer.
You can also order the book at your favorite bookseller. By January 1st,
2008, the book should also be available at Amazon.com and multiple
booksellers on the web. Remember: all monies generated by the sale of
books will be used to fund similar projects in the future. Thank you for

BOOK LAUNCH PARTY: We will have a launch event for the book on December
16th in the
main foyer immediately after the Celebration service. Most of the authors and
those involved
with the project will be available to distribute books and sign your copies, if
you would like.
Pre-order books can be picked up at the church office after the 16th if you are
unable to be
at the launch.
