My responsibilities include: Missions Pastor. Leading worship for the Celebration Service, assist in running praise
team rehearsals, planning the services, being on the Magnification
Team. Chaplin at First Wesleyan Church's school which is Wesleyan Education Center.

Family: Wife, Janet of 30 years. Daughter, Krista married to Jay Valade, a
Firefighter from High Point with two beautiful grandboys! Daughters
Molly, Katie and McKenzie. All students in college or high school...all
beautiful and my big stick is behind the door:-)

Hobbies & Interests: Grouper Fishing in Florida, salt water aquarium, spending time with the
grandboys, working out, NASCAR and country music...(it finally bit me
after all these years), long drives in to the mountains with my wife
hoping to buy a mountain property one day, hanging out with students!

Favorite Bible Verse: My Life verse: Romans 8:38-39 - "I am persuaded..."

How I became a Christian: Through the death of my brother and realizing I needed a personal
relationship Christ and I couldn't ride on the coat tails of my Godly
parents.

Specific ways that my church family can be praying: That I remain open to the Holy Spirit working in my life so I can model true and free worship. That I can finish strong as a husband and
father. That I never become insensitive to God leading in my life and
that I am always a risk taker.
